Nissan Frontier 2012


The 2012 Nissan Frontier model lineup consists of Frontier S, Frontier SV, Frontier PRO-4X (4x4 models only) and Frontier SL (Crew Cab only). It is offered in both King Cab and Crew Cab body styles, in 4x2 and 4x4 driveline configurations.




The Nissan Frontier, which combines premium hardware, extraordinary power and off-road athleticism, continues to be a leader in the mid-size truck segmènt. With a choice of two body configurations, 4x4 and 4x2 drive, powerful 261-horsepower 4.0-liter V6 or 152-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder (King Cab only) engines, and good fuel mileage (17 city, 21 highway, King Cab 2WD), Frontier again offers exceptional levels of family or workplace performance to fit nearly any need or budget.

Revisions for the 2012 model year include the addition of a new Sport Appearance Package on King Cab and Crew Cab SV models. The Sport Appearance Package includes 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and front grille wîth Dark Hyper Silver finish, body-color front and rear bumpers, sport cloth seat trim wîth embroidered Frontier logo, fog lights, body side 'Frontier' sport graphic, white-faced gauges, Bluetooth® Hands Free Phone System and much more.

 Named ‘Kuro', meaning black in Japanese, the strictly limited edition provides a new, dark look to the British-built Juke.

Based on the top-of-the-range Tekna grade, the Kuro features new ten spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels finished in gloss black along with black door mirrors and handles.Only 700 examples of Kuro will be produced for the UK.

As with all fashion items, a label is crucial so the Kuro's exclusivity is acknowledged with a special numbered plaque fitted to the centre console.

The Kuro is available with a choice of two metallic paint finishes which could complement the contents of any wardrobe: Pearl Black or Force Red.

The full range of Juke engine options is available with the Kuro, starting with a 1.6-litre petrol priced at £17,395. For those who like power dressing, the obvious choice will be the flagship 190hp turbocharged DIG-T at £18,995.

For 2012, Maxima receives a refreshed exterior – with a new front grille design, new rear combination lights, and new 18-inch and 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. Inside, the roomy Maxima interior’s enhancements include a new meter cluster illumination color (white), new Dark Piano-hairline trim, a new Atlantic Cherry wood tone trim, a new metallic-finish trim, and a new Cafe Latte interior color. There’s also a new audio segment display and new audio/HVAC knob design. In addition, two new exterior colors are offered: Java Metallic and Dark Slate.

The other big news for the 2012 Maxima is the addition of a special Limited Edition Package for the 3.5 S model, which features smoked appearance headlights, High Intensity Discharge (HID) Xenon headlights, a compass in the rearview mirror, 18-inch aluminum-alloy Dark Hyper Silver finish wheels, a rear spoiler, dark satin chrome front grille, fog lights, outside mirrors with integrated turn signals and metallic trim. The Limited Edition Package provides excellent value at an MSRP of $710 USD.
